VCAL Resource Toolkit - Holmesglen Vocational College Holmesglen Training and Development at HIT developed this VCAL Resource Toolkit, funded by the Office of Training and Further Education. The Resource Toolkit outlines how post-compulsory aged students will have the opportunity to experience industry standard programs in a TAFE environment while gaining the Intermediate or Senior VCAL.

Go Girls - a fully integrated VCAL program designed for year 11 students at Berrick Secondary College.  It is designed to develop the students understanding of the world around them and explore the various pathway options available to them.  Projects include: Me, Myself and I; Safe at Work; Melbourne on Offer; Phenomenal Women; ANZAC; Camp Shack; What's good for you?; Pay it forward; Holocaust; Where am I going?

VicRoads Road Safety Units

VicRoads has developed this set of VCAL Road Safety Units for teachers and practitioners delivering the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) in schools and other educational settings. The resource focuses on young driver safety issues and aims to assist young people to enter the road system as safe and responsible drivers.  The units have been designed and developed to integrate learning outcomes in Literacy, Numeracy and Personal Development Skills across all levels of VCAL – Foundation, Intermediate and Senior.

Consumer Affairs Victoria has developed curriculum resources that are aligned to the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) and the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) Literacy and Numeracy strands. The materials focus on life skills that enable young people to become smart consumers.

The Real Game series - a career and life skills education program. The implementation of The Real Game series in Australia is a Commonwealth Government initiative, managed by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training.
