Mathematics resources are available online at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) website.  Curriculum that is offered to students from Prep to Year 10 is accompanied by a range of teaching and learning aids to ensure teachers and students maximise the opportunities for education.

UK Primary Framework - a United Kingdom web site, the Primary Framework for literacy and mathematics, supports and increases all children's access to excellent teaching, leading to exciting and successful learning.

 

 

VELS resources:

Multi domain assessment: Sample task 7 – Understanding weather (www.sofweb.vic.edu.au/blueprint/fs1/assessment/multidomain/mdtask7.htm) - this multi domain task focuses on Mathematics and Thinking Processes at Level 5. This sample task is for students to produce a structured written report based on analysis and interpretation of data related to weather patterns in a number of selected cities.

 

The PoLT Online Professional Learning Resource contains a number of classroom activity snapshots (vignettes) which focus on particular stages of learning and explore the Principles in action within a Mathematics classroom.
